These photos are different than normal ID Photos because all the attention is drawn directly to the people, due to the black background. For the picture all the way to the left of Lexi, I used the red light stick, and then when I went to edit it, I added a little more red, and blue to her sweatshirt. The middle picture of Noah was taken using regular white light, which worked out nicely due to the fact that he was wearing a white shirt, and then I decided the picture looked its best in black and white. The picture of Lexi on the right was taken with slight red lighting but also regular white lighting, and I increased the hue/saturation to brighten her face a little, and then Brough out the blue in her jeans.
Double Exposure
I chose this picture of Lexi because I see it as a very successful photo of her, and I used the second layer picture of the fence because I knew that it wouldn't cover her, or take away from the actual picture of herself. I think the overall outcome of this photo is really cool, because the fence gives almost an old look to the photos.
Favorite Person, Place or Thing
I feel that these images are successful because it captures both of their true personalities. Nick (on the left) likes when attention is drawn to him, so he enjoys posing for the camera. John (on the right) is just a goofy person as captured in the photo. If I was to be photographed for someones favorite person, I would want to be photographed doing something I love or a photo that shows my true personality.
